physician mindset
William Osler, MD
How can you get what information is necessary from and about your patients to make accurate diagnoses and offer treatments that best meet the patient's desires?
How can you handle the constant second guessing and criticism of your work by your patients and other people evaluating you?
Will you apply it to your patients? How?
As a healthcare "provider," what can you do be the ocean (for yourself and for patients) so that you will not be destroyed by the waves?
It needs updating to the 21st century, but please let me know if you find another book that challenges this one for relevance on "how to be a doctor."
Here is someone's attempt at revising Osler's advice for the modern reader.
