How are these people (including the dead ones) continuing to advance rights that white/male national leaders have 'forgotten' about or discriminated against?
Is there work you could do or should do to stop discrimination against your patients based on their not-in-the-majority human characteristics that would improve their health?
The people I've listed were all shot or imprisoned.
Being a conscientious objector often results in suffering. It requires a person "to bear the burdens of one's convictions."
This book contains speeches by all the people listed on this page. Is it a wonder that healthcare rights are only what they are and only develop at the pace they do when there are not enough speeches demanding change?
